Happy Almost Friday! Time for the Harry Potter Moment of the Week, hosted by Lunar Rainbows!
This week’s topic is….
Would you rather battle, Draco or Lucius?
This one wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. The Malfoy men are dangerous, not because of skill, but because they are cowards. A coward can be far more dangerous than a skilled killer because cowards are unpredictable. They do not stick to convictions (good or bad), they only do what is best for themselves and what will keep them alive. This often results in them sacrificing other people’s lives for their own. Cowards are scum – I also discovered how deep my contempt for cowards runs while doing this post, lol.
My gut reaction is Draco though. Here’s why:
- Lucius has had more training and is thus more experienced.
- I don’t think Draco has what it takes to actually kill someone. An asshole – yes, a murderer – no.
- Lucius is a bigger coward, which makes him more likely to do more harm to not only me, but anyone in the vicinity.
Side note: You know who I WOULDN’T F–K with? Narcissa Malfoy. She loves her son fiercely; on second thought–maybe battling Malfoy would be more dangerous because I’m 100% certain that if something happened to her son she would seek vengeance….
And one more gif of Lucius because this one made me giggle 😀
What about you? Who would you rather battle?
Time for the Harry Potter Moment of the Week, hosted by Lunar Rainbows. I’ve missed the last couple due to having a lot going on (you can read more in my Update post).

Time for the Harry Potter Moment of the Week, hosted by Lunar Rainbows. This week’s topic is….
Would you rather take a class taught by Lockhart or get detention with Filch?
I am currently reading Chamber of Secrets with my sons so this is very fitting. We actually just read the part where Harry and Ron serve detention tonight! Lockheart is unbearably annoying to me. One of my very least types of people in the world are vapid narcissists.
With that being said, I still think I would rather take a class with him. The great thing about narcissists is that generally you don’t have to actually pay attention to them, you just need to appear to be paying attention.
I pretend to listen to people all the time, especially when I’m reading and my husband continues to talk to me about things like, “who got into the baseball hall of fame this year”.
Flich is just such a miserable old miser. I am someone who absorbs the emotions of people around me. Spending four hours with Filch would probably turn me into a maniac.
UGH Sorry this post is so late, btw. My 5-year-old has a stomach bug so this is the first time I’ve been able to sit down today.
Thanks for reading!
Hey everyone! So far 2017 has given me a rare bacterial infection followed immediately by a massive head cold. I’m hoping this is less of an omen on how 2017 will go for me and more of a “let’s get all the bad stuff out of the way first”. 😀
Okay, now that I’ve got my complaining out of the way, it’s time for the Harry Potter Moment of the Week, hosted by Lunar Rainbows. This week’s topic is….
Would you have put your name in the Goblet of Fire?
