FairyLoot Unboxing!

I got my very first FairyLoot box this month and I am so excited to share it with you! I love it!! It’s definitely my favorite sub box I’ve ever gotten and I plan on getting this box every month now.

Side Note: my poor DHL delivery driver. This box got delivered at 11:30 PM last Friday night! I couldn’t believe he was out delivering so late!

This goes without saying…but spoilers ahead for the APRIL box!

This is the overall unboxing of everything. See the other images below to get a look at all the items up close.

This beautiful mug (which is dashwasher and microwave safe, yaay!) is made by Risa Rodil. Click her name to be taken to her Society 6 page, she’s got a lot of really great things on there!

As you all know, I’m sure, I am obsessed with ACOTAR/ACOMAF so this is my favorite item from this box. 🙂

This tote is from Miss Phi, and it features a quote from The Bone Season series by Samantha Shannon.

The bag is great quality, and having two kids that play sports ensures that bags get good use in my house!

This gemstone notebook is from Portico. This was the only item I got in the box that I didn’t absolutely love. The notebook is really pretty, but my birthstone is Amethyst so I didn’t connect with it as much. The notebook itself is really beautiful so I may give it to a friend who has a December birthday 🙂

The Reverie (mint marshmallows and candy floss) candle is from Meraki Candles. It smells delicious and has a sprinkle of purple glitter on the top. I adore candles, so I’m happy there was one in this box!

The pin (“Dream Jar”) is from House of Wonderland. It’s really cute and you can tell it’s high quality. I’m not sure where I’ll put it yet, but I’m trying to figure out a creative way to display all my pins somewhere. If you have an idea feel free to drop a comment and suggest away!

This beautiful magnet was made exclusive for this box by FairyLoot! It matches the colors in my office perfectly so I already have it sitting on my file cabinet next to me. It’s perfect to have next to me while I work at a job I don’t particularly like and reminds me to keep pushing and working to my goal of going back to school to get my Master’s degree so I can finally do my dream job.

We also got these little cards from Hunted (read my review here) and Spindle Fire. I put the Hunted one in y copy of Hunted and I’ll probably keep the Spindle Fire one in a box until I buy that book and do the same.

Now for the book!

The book also came with a letter from the author and a signed bookplate.

Kings and Queens rise and fall, loyalties collide, and romance blooms in a world where the sea is rising—and cannot be escaped.

Khosa is Given to the Sea, a girl born to be fed to the water, her flesh preventing a wave like the one that destroyed the Kingdom of Stille in days of old. But before she’s allowed to dance an uncontrollable twitching of the limbs that will carry her to the shore in a frenzy—she must produce an heir. Yet the thought of human touch sends shudders down her spine that not even the sound of the tide can match.

Vincent is third in line to inherit his throne, royalty in a kingdom where the old linger and the young inherit only boredom. When Khosa arrives without an heir he knows his father will ensure she fulfills her duty, at whatever cost. Torn between protecting the throne he will someday fill, and the girl whose fate is tied to its very existence, Vincent’s loyalty is at odds with his heart.

Dara and Donil are the last of the Indiri, a native race whose dwindling magic grows weaker as the island country fades. Animals cease to bear young, creatures of the sea take to the land, and the Pietra—fierce fighters who destroyed the Indiri a generation before—are now marching from their stony shores for the twin’s adopted homeland, Stille.

Witt leads the Pietra, their army the only family he has ever known. The stone shores harbor a secret, a growing threat that will envelop the entire land—and he will conquer every speck of soil to ensure the survival of his people.

The tides are turning in Stille, where royals scheme, Pietrans march, and the rising sea calls for its Given.”

And Finally, my buddy card number is 04317. Each box is given a buddy card so when you share it on social media you can find the match to your and buddy read the book!

I hope you all had a great weekend and a wonderful week!
