It’s Monday, what are you reading? (3)

This is a weekly feature hosted over at Book Date.

heartlessHeartless by Marissa Meyer. If you feel like getting your soul violently ripped out of your bleeding chest, read this book. It was so good, but wrecked me afterward. Read my review on it here.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. My new favorite series, seriously amazing. I could not stop listening to this book, and finished it way faster than I should have. Check out my review here.

acomafA Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. Yeah, I finished 3 audiobooks this week. ACOFAR was 16 hours long and ACOMAF was 19. I’m almost a little embarrassed at this, as it shows how little of a life outside my family and books I really have, lol. I just finished this last night and haven’t finished the review yet. I will link here when it’s done.

Regress by SF Benson. I know. I’ve been reading this for like 1.5 weeks. The books above have consumed all of my free time. Now that I’m done with those I can finally get cracking on this. I’m not sure I really like it though. I’m about 33% done and I don’t feel like I can connect with the main characters. I’m going to dive in a little more today though.

Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard. I just started listening to this this morning. I did a review on Red Queen here and loved it, so I have high hopes.

This one I’m not sure of. If I can’t find a rhythm in Regress, I won’t be moving onto this book. I’m trying really hard though because I won this book in a giveaway so I want to be able to give a review to the author on it.

I’m trying to finish Glass Sword by 2/7 (when King’s Cage is released).

And that’s it! I hope everyone is having a great Monday!

  1. I guess reading (or maybe a favorite tv show) is the only time when getting your heart ripped out is a good thing!

Congrats on listening to so many audiobooks. I got two in this year and I am hoping to get some more soon!

    • Thanks! I am pretty much addicted to audiobooks. I like that I can be productive and “read” at the same time. Over the past week I have found excuses to listen to books so my house is super clean right now, lol 🙂
